I'm Alexis S., the breeder behind Arbor Hill Aussies located in Stuart, IA. Our mini Aussies are bred for temperament. The puppies are raised with my 2 young sons and have exposure to all kinds of animals and people. We health test our adults to make sure all of the puppies are healthy. We strive to offer the best personalities in our puppies.

Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding when I purchased my first house. I knew I wanted mini Aussies but never had anywhere to keep them. A family friend used to breed mini Aussies so I got my female from them. My male I got from someone local. After seeing their personalities I wanted to share how amazing this breed can be.What makes your program special?
All of my breeders are my pets first. I make sure they are all genetic tested and soon then will all have OFA testing. I want to make sure all of my puppies get permanent homes and if they don’t I will take them back! When my dogs are retired, I keep them because my home is all they’ve ever known. I want the same for all of their puppies!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include tiny and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black & white, red & white, blue merle, black tri, red tri, and red merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

“This price includes ASDR, deworming, first vaccinations, and a puppy care kit. Whichever puppy is picked this is towards the final price. The deposit is not refundable unless something were to happen to the puppy in our care.”

PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
