I'm Arctic R., the breeder behind Arctic Rose Yorkies located in Alaska. We are a small in home breeder of health tested and AKC registered Yories. We strive to breed healthy, well rounded, and cute Yorkies. We embark test and do age appropriate OFA’s. Puppies are docked and dewclaws removed, are started on ENS and pee pad/outdoor training as well. Find us on FB!

Leo is a sweet, calm, and gentle-mannered male with an exceptional temperament. He is quiet by nature and rarely barks, making him a pleasure to have both in the home and around others. Imported from Poland, Leo has full AKC registration and boasts prominent, well-established bloodlines throughout his pedigree. Parent health testing

Arctic Rose Yorkies reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Yorkshire Terriers.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
