I'm Jackie F., the breeder behind Arkeden Tibetan Terriers located in Medford, NJ. Our dogs are bred with a focus on temperament, health and conformation. A beautiful litter of 6 was born on November 17, 2 boys and 4 girls. All delivered perfectly by first time Mom, Tashi.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I bought my first Tibetan from a breeder who taught me about showing and researching pedigrees. I helped her with several litters, and then decided I would breed my dog. I became a preservation breeder of Tibetans and continue to be active in showing and dog club activities.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our dogs are health tested and of sound temperament. We're very involved with our breeder community, and take pride in supporting the Tibetan Terrier Breed.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Pituitary Dwarfism, PRA, Cone-Rod Dystrophy 4 (PRA-crd4), Primary Lens Luxation (PLL), Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis, Tibetan Terrier Type
