I'm Annika A., the breeder behind Arrowwood Acres located in Aitkin, MN. We have high quality Shetland Sheepdogs bred to improve the breed. Our Shelties go to show, performance, or pet homes depending on the confirmation, size, and attitude of each puppy. We love the Shetland Sheepdog, and want future generations to be better than the previous.
Q. & A. with Annika
Why did you start breeding?
We started breeding in 2022, when we got an amazing bitch, Kilo, that had the personality, conformation, and looks to build a better Sheltie. She is the most attentive dam, a Super-Mom.
What makes your program special?
We raise our puppies on a 20 acre hobby farm, where they are exposed to nature, the smells and sounds of farm animals (horses, Shetland Sheep, goats, chickens, geese, etc.)
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue merle white and tan, black white and tan, black and white, and sable and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

These dogs are already reserved or have gone home.
