I'm Taylor L., the breeder behind Aryggeth Collies located in Salineville, OH. Hello! I am a professional collie handler, and my mother began Aryggeth Collies in the 1970's, and I am proud to continue her legacy. We focus on temperament, health, and conformation, believing that every collie should have that innate "Lassie" temperament that the breed is so well-known for.

Why did you start breeding?
My mother began her interest in showing dogs, and quickly chose the collie breed because of their wonderful temperaments with children. She wanted a dog she could trust with kids, and no breed is better for that than collies, in my opinion. Growing up with collies provided me with a magical childhood, and my goal is to continue to provide that opportunity to the public.What makes your program special?
Our breeding programs stands out because of our focus on the correct collie temperament. While.our program focuses on confirmation (dog shows), we place many dogs in performance, therapy, and working homes. We believe the correct collie temperament is happy, calm, and adaptable- able to fit in just as well with your family as it is providing comfort to those in need.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include smooth and rough coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Taylor partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

My top priority is to make sure the puppies are happy and loved, which can only happen when they are enjoyed for their own personality. I will ask lots of questions while getting to know you, and I will be honest about what I believe will best suit your needs. ”
