I'm Dawn S., the breeder behind Aussie Gems located in Scottsburg, IN. Our Program is based of giving families or individuals the most well rounded puppies we can provide. We give them all the care, love, vaccines, health checks, we can provide.

Why did you start breeding?
We got into breeding standard Australian shepherds in the late 90’s. Rough Collies in the early 2010’s and have gone back to the Australian shepherd breed for the love of the breed. We have always strived to raise the most healthy and happy animals humanly possible….What makes your program special?
We have a genuine Love and relationship with our dogs. We don’t breed just to breed. We breed because we love to be surrounded by the animals we have.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue merle, black tri, red tri, and red merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Dawn
Dawn has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $750 - $3,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“This price includes Litter registered with the ASDR.. first vaccinations, health checks and wormer. Price depends on color, markings and pet or breeding rights.”
Contract & health guarantee
Dawn may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
