I'm Selina J., the breeder behind Aussie Tales Farm located in Marshall, VA. We do our best to socialize and acclimate each litter so we’re able to offer all-around healthy and well-mannered puppies! We find so much joy in watching our puppies grow and develop their own unique personalities. We can’t wait for you to meet your next loving and loyal companion!

Why did you start breeding?
We had an amazing male Aussie that was the “perfect” life companion. We were determined to keep that line going. My first service dog was also amazing and the two of them were bred. The rest is history!!What makes your program special?
Our love for the Australian Shepherd and belief in their natural abilities in understanding people. We are going into our fourth generation of Aussies! We aspire to raise the most healthy, sound, intelligent, intuitive and loving best friends possible! Our dogs are currently working as service dogs, assistant dogs, agility, dock diving, fast cat and amazing companions all over the USA.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red & white, black & white, red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Fun loving, people loving and intuitive. Silly when he knows you’re happy 😝and loving when he knows you need that extra connection 🥰. Many puppies from our lines have been used as assistant animals. You know what he is thinking as his expressions are so animated and most times even comical. He loves people, kids, cats and other dogs. He has an easy calm switch which is what we breed for in our Aussies. His coat is luxurious, shiny and coal black and beautiful tan points. What’s not to love!!❤️

Grizzly is a very nice and athletic standard Aussie. He loves people and walking around the farm and trails. He is extremely good at walking up the fallen trees and would be a great agility champion! He is also a good swimmer. He is always perfectly aware where you are and listens extremely well. We love him dearly!!

Journey is a very smart and lovable girl. She will play with you for as long as you like and then curl up with her bone for a few hours of downtime. She loves to swim and loves a good game of hide and seek in the pond. She is great at recall and listens very well.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Hi Selena! I want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Oakley (aka Puppy 4), is AWESOME! She is everything you said she was. She is adjusting well, and my dogs are doing a good job at accepting a puppy.
