Maggie partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.
“We take great care in placing each puppy with the right home. Puppies are matched once they are old enough for us to evaluate their temperaments and personalities - typically around 6-8 weeks. ”

“The price includes 1. Written contract with health guarantee 2. Temperament testing results for your puppy using the Volhard's Puppy Aptitude Test 2. Limited AKC registration (for standard poodle puppies only ) 3. Vet health exam/certificate between 7-8 weeks of age, plus first round of vaccinations (given at home by Maggie who is an RN) and microchip placed by vet 4. Deworming at 2, 4, 6 & 8 weeks of age and records of this included in puppy health folder 5. Puppy go home bag including training treats, small bag of puppy food, toy & blanket with mom & littermates scent, 2 potty pads for trip home, guidelines included in puppy health folder regarding appropriate exercise/activities for age, socialization tips and flea & tick preventative recommendations 6. Lifetime of advice and a listening ear from breeder for any questions or concerns that you might have 7. Puppies come with a good foundation in starting their potty training, socialization and will have learned some basic manners & commands including "sit" and "come". We ask for a deposit before visiting our home to meet our dogs and family in order to ensure our safety. Once a deposit is placed, we encourage you to come for an in person visit. We offer a refund of your deposit if: 1. During your in person visit either party decides for any reason that it isn't the right fit 2. You request a refund for any reason less than 3 business days after it was placed, regardless of your ability to visit in person. We will always send a puppy contract and answer any questions before accepting deposits. 🩵.”
Maggie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Maggie offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Maggie directly.

About Tux
We love Jay-Quellan! (he has so many nicknames now in his retirement). Tux is a small standard parti (or “tuxedo”) AKC poodle. He has sired 3 healthy litters of puppies. He is known to be gentle and easy going and gets along well with other dogs. He is now retired, but still lives with us and is our best friend. He is a great "nanno" dog to our current puppies with his endless amounts of patience and his calm demeanor. We are super proud of his leash skills and his athletic abilities and are so happy to call him ours forever.

About Gypsy
Gypsy is our most affectionate, doting dog. She loves to cuddle and wants to be everyone’s best friend. She is technically moyen sized, at 38 pounds, but is registered as an AKC standard poodle as the AKC groups moyen and standard poodles together, without recognizing a difference. She is definitely petite and dainty for a standard poodle but is very square and well proportioned in her conformation. She is athletic and energetic and a great active companion, but also has a great off switch and knows how to just look pretty and settle down and watch a movie with us as well. She is good at matching our mood as a family and we really appreciate how well she is able to just go with the flow.

About Blaze
Blaze is athletic and strong and a good social mixer. Gets along well with other dogs and new people friends. His mom is Kona (retired) and his dad is Chevy (also retired). He is very low shedding (we gave him a poodle cut in his most recent pictures but his beard grows out and looks very doodly if we let it). He is a very happy go lucky, go with the flow type of dog. He is just happy to be here! He is ALMOST 2 and we are really enjoying watching him grow and enjoy life.

About Sophie
Sophie is smart and capable, very biddable and willing to please. She is not shy or reactive. She listens well and waits patiently. I thought she would be a great service dog and would have been the first pick of my last litter (spring 2024) but I decided to keep her because she is so lovely. She has been a great addition to our family and a great momma to her first litter this year (December 2025). Gypsy’s first grandpups!

Maggie & Matt were so helpful in the puppy selection process, all the way down to the pick up process. We fell in love with Louie at first sight and he has been so good ever since. I would definitely recommend getting a puppy from Maggie!

I love working with Maggie, she's been an absolute joy! She was super responsive while we were figuring out which puppy suited us, and remains communicative still, as we navigate puppy life. I love that they do a personality/character traits-type test on the pups so you can see how they would fit into your lifestyle. She puts the extra mile in and you can clearly see how much they love their dogs. Would 100% buy from her again. Thanks, Maggie!

Maggie was amazing, patient, and thoughtful in her communication with us as well as doing her best to insure good matches. We are so thankful for our new addition and her follow through when we got home to make sure everyone was settling in well.

I had never heard of Good Dog until I found Maggie’s page! Maggie is extremely responsive and ready to answer all of your question's. Her litters are exceptionally cute, healthy and well loved by all of their family members, making the transition to a new home go smoothly! The Good Dog platform is easy to use, navigate and safely pay. She makes sure they know the basics before they go to new homes which is a big help. We brought home Oliver at approximately 2 months and he was almost completely potty trained and familiar with a kennel. At 3 months Oliver is kennel trained, potty trained, herding already and smart as a whip! He loves being with his humans and lays at our feet keeping our feet warm. I would highly recommend Maggie as a breeder!

We can't say enough nice things about Maggie. She is responsive, honest, and very knowledgeable. As a first time puppy-mom, she made me feel at ease, gave us many easy and successful tips (but nothing overwhelming), and followed up with us days, weeks, and months after we took our sweet puppy home. We are so in love with our dog and can't imagine our life without him. We recommend Maggie without hesitation. Full service, 10/10, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Thank you for everything so far, Maggie, and we look forward to continuing to be in touch!
