I'm Hope R., the breeder behind Aussies of Hope LLC located in Lakeland, FL. We’re proud of the healthy, affectionate, and behaviorally well-rounded puppies we raise for other families to love! Raising puppies has been so much fun, although we take our role in raising them seriously. Breeding has helped us share the joy of our dogs with other families and individuals.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I was raised on a farm with alot of different animals. I got into breeding Rottweiler when I was very young but moved to Aussies when I was around 40. I had an amazing Aussie, Jack. He was my daughters best friend and protector. I just fell in love with the bred and wanted to give that same joy and love to other families.

  • What makes your program special?

    My pup are raised around alot love and attention. I get to know each pup and their personalities so I can tell you what to expect out of each one before you take them home. They are played with by my grandbaby and kids everyday. My fur babies are my other kids so I try to spoil them as much as I can. I give the room to run and play and I get them in a doggie pool so they will love water so hopefully baths are a breeze. I will take pictures of the pups often so you can see them grow up, videos too. I am here for you for as long as you allow me to be. Even if your pup is 10 years old. Call me. If I can help, I will.

Getting a puppy from Hope

Hope has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Hope partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“I am taking appointments starting March 8 for people to come see the pups if you like. Once an appointment is made for a certain pup, that pup is on hold until you see them. If there is another pup here that is available that choose you, that is absolutely fine. You may also choose your pup from the pictures and video I have. Please message or call me before you make a deposit to make sure that pup is available. Please do your research on Australian Shepherds. Make sure this type of breed is a good fit for you and your family. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $1,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Tail and dew claws are removed. AKC Reg. &prepaid for you. Dewormed 2 4 6 8 weeks. Health certificate & first shots 5 year health guarantee. 200.00 deposit is required to hold your pup. Refundable only if the a major medical condition arises or the pup goes over the rainbow bridge.”

Hope may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • DNA Disease Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
