I'm Savannah S., the breeder behind Autumn Breeze Shih Tzus and Friends located in Cartersville, GA. We are passionate about producing top quality dogs with excellent health and friendly temperments. All puppies and dogd are raised inside in the center of everything. They are interacted with every day, throughout each day as we do life. We work diligently to place the perfect companion for you!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I started Helping my mom when i was around 13 years old with her Shih Tzu breeding program and grew up with the same passion. I branched off from her program once I had my daughter and have passions for multiple breeds, but currently just raise the shih tzus. I am open to exploring more breeds in the future as I get to know different breeds and ensure they fit well with my lifestyle.

  • What makes your program special?

    This breeding passion is special because i genuinely love what i do. i love the people i get the privelege of connecting with and i love seeing my puppies make a difference in others lives. Dogs have always been a huge emotional support for me growing up and i hope my babies add so much joy to their humans lives.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include gold, red, silver, white, silver gold and white, gold and white, brindle and white, black white and silver, black gold and silver, red and white, black and white, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Savannah

Savannah has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Savannah partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We match puppies to families based on what they are looking for in a sweet companion. We are happy to do a video call for you to meet a puppy you are interested in and seeing if they are a fit. Our first step is requiring our application be filled out. Once its reviewed and accepted we can chat further and schedule a video call. If you are interested in a litter that's not born yet or just recently born i am happy to answer questions and send pictures and videos. We do accept deposits for upcoming litters and deposits may be transferred to another puppy or future litters if needed.”

Puppy prices include a $750 non-refundable deposit and between $1,050 - $2,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Puppies are dewormed 3-4 times, microchip, two sets of vaccinations, and wellness exam from licenced vet. Vet Files PDF, AKC/UKC limited upon request after Spay/Neuter. Goody bag take home. This places your hold on the puppy of your choosing! If for some reason it doesn't work out for that puppy then with proper communication and contract I will keep that deposit for another litter.”

Savannah may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    I got my sweet baby boy Gus (previously Snoopy) from Savannah and she was and has been amazing from the very start! She is very thorough and quick to respond even now when I have questions! What stood out about Savannah is you can tell she truly loves all of her puppies. I can tell Gus was very socialized prior to being homed which has made a huge difference. He is great on car rides, very laid back around new people, sleeps well through the night, loves baths (hates being blown dry 😂) and overall an easy puppy. He has been the perfect companion for me and I look forward to many many more years with my sweet Gus!

    Savanah with Autumn Breeze was wonderful to work with. She promptly responded to me and answered all my questions. She is/was available to assist after pick up when I have questions. She even reaches out to see how we & Bode are doing. Bode is a wonderful happy boy, he is a big boy & a perfect fit to our family. He has a big brother & sister to play with so we are so pleased.
