I'm Alexis & Andy C., the breeder behind AV Mini Aussies located in Michigan. We offer well-tempered, health-tested companion Mini Australian Shepherds. We strive and have proven to improve the breed with each generation. We keep our program small to give each dog and puppy all the attention and care that they require to live happy, healthy and well rounded lives.

Why did you start breeding?
Growing up I wanted to pursue being a vet. I grew older and realized I wanted to help animals in a different way. My goal with breeding is to improve temperaments and appearance in a smaller package. We found our 1st Aussie, fell in love with her, wondered how she would look if she had kept her tail (it wasn’t as popular back then), years later bred her in 2018 and now the rest is history (:!What makes your program special?
Our love for this breed and our dogs shows when raising these pups. We also keep our program small so we can give each of our dogs that one on one time, as well as pack fun. We plan our litters very carefully so we can fully dedicate our time to properly socialize each pup, with focus on one litter at a time.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Getting a puppy from Alexis & Andy
Alexis & Andy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 deposit and $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The final payment is due in cash at the time of pick-up. Final balance will be due at 7 weeks if pup is flying using our flight nanny service. This deposit is non-refundable but transferable to a future litter with us :).”

Alexis & Andy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Full Embark Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
