Meet the breeder

I'm Cat D., the breeder behind Aviator Doxies located in Hesperia, CA. All my dogs are loved as family members. I cherish my puppies from birth up until they leave my arms to snuggle into yours! I'm passionate about raising the best family companions possible. It is just so exciting to start sharing the joy and excitement of life with a Dachshund! I'm very active showing my dogs and 3 from my breedings finished their Championships this past January 2025.

Q. & A. with Cat

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got in to breeding to produce so I could keep one for my needs and hobby and to be sure to provide high quality puppies for others to love.
  • What makes your program special?

This is difficult to pinpoint as there are so many great breeders out there. Many of whom I have good relationships with who all strive to own a really nice dog that meets the Standard written for the breed. Myself, I do not have many litters. My dogs here are lifers! They roam freely all together and rarely crated. No kennel runs here. They teach and learn from one another the routine here and have big vocabularies. I have the #2 Top Producing Longhair Female in 2024. She produced 7 champions. These puppies of mine are not only smart but very beautiful to look at.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
