I'm D C., the breeder behind Avidity Cockers located in Washington. My breeding program is based on improving the quality of my breed in health, temperament, performance, and conformation. I'm involved in agility, obedience, rally, tracking, and weight pull! I am a member of The American Spaniel Club and love the breed so much.
Q. & A. with D
Why did you start breeding?
I decided to start breeding when my boy started getting older and that I’d like to have a puppy out of him to continue his legacy of a versatility performance dog.
What makes your program special?
All puppies are born and raised in the house. They are well socialized before going to a new home. If the weather is permitting they experience the outdoors. They are exposed to as many sites and sounds as possible. They have plenty of toys to play with and enjoy. This also helps them develop their natural instinct to retrieve. All our puppies are family.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include buff, black and white, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
