I'm Alaina W., the breeder behind AW Standard Aussies located in Canyon, TX. Hi! I'm Alaina Williams. I am a third-year vet student and my goal is to raise versatile pups that are able to go on and succeed in any home they're in, whether that be in a show home, with an active family, or as a service dog!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have always loved Aussies! In high school, my ag teacher bred aussies and I fell in love with the breed. In undergrad, one of my best friends bred mini aussies and she showed me the ropes! I bought my first female and the rest is history! I love learning more about the breed and trying to always better my program

  • What makes your program special?

    Being a vet student, I am able to better my program as I learn more and more. I have had the opportunity to learn from wonderful veterinarians about breeding. My dogs always bring a smile to my face after a hard day and I couldn't see my life without them. That's my goal for those who purchase a puppy from me!

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Alaina

Alaina has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $800 - $1,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes the ability to register with ASDR or AKC, their first round of vaccinations (DAPP), appropriate dewormings at 4, 6, and 8 weeks, and a 2-year genetic health guarantee. The deposit goes towards the price of the puppy and reserves your puppy.”

Contract & health guarantee

Alaina may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific), DNA Coat/Trait Panel, D Locus (Dilute) DNA test, Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), DNA Disease Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
