I'm Nicole C., the breeder behind Awwws-n-Pawws located in Mahwah, NJ. I am a huge animal lover and have a special place in my heart for everyone of my dogs. I provide top-quality beloved companions. I cherish each of my dogs and puppies, and I do everything I can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families.

Why did you start breeding?
I love my dogs (this Maltipoo breed) so much, I want to bless others with how great they are! They are loving, smart, easy to train, adaptable to any residence I.e. apartment, house, town home, they are hypo-allergenic, excellent with small children and seniors. They don’t bark a lot at all! And they are perfect emotional support dogs as well. They have changed my life and it all started with my rescue Beauty, she passed 12/28/20, bestest and greatest friend/companion in the whole world!! So if I can share and bless them with others, I will absolutely breed them Forever!!!What makes your program special?
I am holistic breeder that only feeds my dogs natural as close to raw food as possible. Their diet consists of only Turkey, some chicken, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, brown rice, shiitake mushrooms, free range eggs and a little bit of coconut oil. My dogs only drink distilled water. They are showered with lots of lots of love everyday and they are my babies!!!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, brown, and champagne. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

I brought Millie home in May of 2023 and she was already mostly potty trained. She is such a smart and friendly dog! She gets along well with all the people and other animals that she meets. I am a first time dog owner and Nicole did an amazing job educating me and giving me advice on how to have a smooth transition. She provided me with all the vaccine documentation as well as with a sniff toy to help Millie adapt to her new home. Millie is the sweetest dog and a perfect addition to our family!
