I'm Terri V., the breeder behind AZ DESERT DACHSHUNDS located in Scottsdale, AZ. Our dogs selected for breeding are a high-quality sire, and Dam. Focusing on colors, quality of coat and sweet and loving personalities. Beautiful body, composition and coloring facial feature’s. our dogs and puppies are raised in a loving home for socializing.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I grew up all my life with Dachshunds, my mother raised them when I was a child and we’ve had many family pets. When I was able to have and raise my children, I started raising a few Dachshunds.. as a child I would show my dog, Our family at one time we all had 22 Dachshunds. We are all now building up currently have 13 in the entire family..

  • What makes your program special?

    My breeding is based on the traditional reds, black and tans, long hair and then it’s like a box of chocolate you just don’t know what color you get these days.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have smooth coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
