I'm Natoya R., the breeder behind Babes Little Babies located in Harahan, LA. New Orleans based Maltese…. These are not just breeding puppies these are my babies. They fly & Travel with us… they do not eat dog food as we have them on a special diet. They sleep with us & play with because they are family first. Puppies get lots of love and socialization from kids to elderly.

Why did you start breeding?
My pet had puppies! I enjoyed the process of whelping and caring for the puppies and started to take it seriously. I DO NOT BREED. I allow my dogs to mate when they want to. We only have a litter on average every other year.What makes your program special?
We love our babies, they aren’t in kennels they’re in our home. They are our family. I send all puppies home with papers, vet checkup with shots and deworming. They will also come with a week of our special dog food. Along with a harness, carry bag, blanket and toys!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

+8I had a thoroughly delightful experience meeting Natoya and my little fur angel, Mollie. It was love at first sight! Mollie was everything Toya said she was, about 1.75 pounds of mischief and sweetness. Over lunch, we spoke of Toya's caring for the pups and what a labor of love it is for her. She researched food groups and makes the food for them which is very healthy. When I met her, she had the papers and vet records for me, as well as a leash, collar, carry bag and two weeks of frozen food, plus litter scented towel and toys for her. Mollie and I spent hours at the airport for return and she was well behaved and pretty well potty trained to a piddle pad. She is still learning to do it in her spot outside our patio, with only a few mistakes. Toya is articulated, loves her dogs and I recommend her to any prospective Maltese lovers.
