I'm Sarah Y., the breeder behind BackRoad Pomeranians located in Maple Park, IL. Pomeranians are like potato chips. You just can’t have one. 🩷 I adore my dogs and love sharing their pups with others! Hi, I am a small hobby Breeder and only have a few litters a year. My dogs are very special to me. They live in our house and our raised with multiple different breeds of dogs that have been rescued. My husband and I have two sons Wyatt and Cooper we own 30 acres in a small town in northern Illinois. My background is in horses and I’m looking forward to see what the future holds with my breeding program.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I acquired my first Pomeranian during the roughest time of my life. He is now 14 years old. He has been my traveling buddy to every horse show that I’ve gone to. I have semi retired from being a horse trainer and a barn owner so now I am looking forward to growing my breeding program. I am looking forward to producing well confirmation dogs at affordable pricing.

  • What makes your program special?

    All of my dogs live in our house. They are exposed to many different obstacles in life and each, and everyone of them holds a very special place in our hearts.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, black, blue, chocolate, wolf sable, tri-colored, chocolate merle, chocolate and tan, blue and tan, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Sarah

Sarah has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $4,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"The price includes AKC registration, a Good Canine health check, a one-year genetic guarantee contract, vet checks, and the first set of puppy shots and warming. Our deposit is non refundable and goes towards the puppy price."

Sarah may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
