I'm Kathryn B., the breeder behind Bacres Kennels located in Rigby, ID. My dogs are bred with health, disposition, and conformation in mind. They have the highest chance of success for service dogs, therapy dogs, SAR, hunting, and family-oriented dogs.
Q. & A. with Kathryn
Why did you start breeding?
My sister was my breeder for my foundation stud. He's my personal service dog and we decided to breed him once he passed all health tests, then found amazing females to compliment him, who've also passed all health tests.
What makes your program special?
My goal is to breed amazing service, therapy, emotional support dog, SAR, hunting prospects, or family-oriented pets. There isn't a lot of people who are breeding for these goals specifically.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
