I'm Nakia t., the breeder behind Badlands Toy and Mini Aussies located in Bend, OR. I breed genetically tested, OFA hip and elbow certified Mini Aussies and Golden Retrievers that have great temperaments. It's so fulfilling to share these furry companions! I want to make the transition from my loving home to yours as seamless as possible by giving personal attention to each little pup to ensure it is well-rounded and prepared to excel in its forever home.

Why did you start breeding?
I purchased my first Mini Aussie and absolutely fell in love with the breed. I wanted to do my part as a responsible breeder and produce healthy, well-rounded pups. It is a privilege to share their love and friendship with others!What makes your program special?
My dogs are great pets with great personalities! I am very dedicated to what I do and what I aim to achieve as a breeder. I work with passion, heart, and integrity, and I truly want what's best for the Aussie line.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Toy Australian Shepherd puppies include red and red merle. Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include blue merle, red merle, red, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
