Meet the breeder

I'm Marci B., the breeder behind Bahrking Heights Labradors located in Silverthorne, CO. If you are looking for the perfect Lab pup, you have found it! Bahrking Heights Labradors are from a fabulous championship line! We breed our dogs for disposition, work ethic, health, and intelligence... and they are beautiful! Our dogs are great hunters and field trial dogs and make excellent family companions. We live with our animals in Houston during the school year and Colorado during the summers. We can't wait to connect with you!

Q. & A. with Marci

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our friends kept asking us, "Where can I find a dog as wonderful as yours?" Our dogs are great, and we wanted others to have the same, so we started breeding. We know that great dogs are a combination of genetics and upbringing, so we are picky when choosing a new dog, and we train with love and consistency. We have been breeding for 20 years but have kept things small to control the quality.
  • What makes your program special?

We have a fantastic line of dogs that have become hunting and field trial champions...but basically, we think that dogs are our best companions. Our dogs LOVE to retrieve, swim, run, chill, and most of all, please their owners. Our puppies live in Montana, Colorado, Texas, North Carolina, and many points in between. We must be doing something right...most of our buyers stay in touch and buy a second pup!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Marci

Marci has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Marci partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We are very careful that our puppies go to great homes where they will be loved, trained, get lots of exercise, and be treated like family members. We start the matching by having potential buyers fill out a questionnaire. If approved, we then go by date of deposit and gender and color preference of the buyers.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $1,000 deposit and $1,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

“Included with your puppy are 7-8 weeks of socialization, 2 visits to the vet, dewclaw removal, the first check-up, the first round of shots, deworming, AKC litter registration, and a puppy goodie bag. We remain a resource for the lifetime of your puppy! The deposit is non-refundable in most cases, but we are reasonable and keep the welfare of the puppy as our primary goal. If your circumstances change and timing for a new puppy wouldn't be good, we can hold your deposit for a future litter, or if we find another buyer right away or someone comes off the waitlist, we would refund your deposit.”

Contract & health guarantee

Marci may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Marci offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Marci directly.

We feel so lucky to have found Marci! She was so responsive through the entire adoption process and it was clear she genuinely cared about the puppies. The pictures she posted during the puppies' care, made it obvious Marci was intentional about socializing them and exposing them to knew experiences. I was appreciative that even after we brought Iris home with us, I could still reach out to Marci with questions and support. Our little Iris came to us a happy, well-adjusted bundle of joy!

Marci & Bill are the absolute BEST breeders EVER! We would recommend and go back to them for another puppy no questions asked! They are so loving and caring and knowledgeable and great communicators! The way they have made this litter as a FAMILY with all of us has been amazing and we look forward to continuing our relationship with everyone! 1000% recommendations for the Zinks!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Bahrking Heights! Bill and Marci are the best! From my very first messages with Marci, I could tell she was invested in her dogs, the litter, and those of us who were interested in one of the pups. Communication went beyond expectations - very responsive and patient with all of my questions. She regularly posted photos and videos of the pups beginning with their births so we could watch their growth and development. She welcomed us to visit as often as we would like as our pups developed and provided tons of updates. Loved how she and Bill loved our pups. Even after I picked up my fur baby, she was available for advice and support. I would HIGHLY recommend Bahrking Heights - they are fantastic!
