I'm Brittni, the breeder behind BAK Forty Ranch located in Plant City, FL. Our goal is to breed well-rounded, health tested Labrador Retrievers. Our Labradors can go from the show ring to the field. They have the stamina to perform as your hunting partner, with an off switch that makes them the ideal companion. Puppies are raised with children & other animals, as well as started on crate & potty training. We utilize ENS, ESI & Avidog training resources to ensure your puppy is well prepared for its life ahead. Please note- we do not do puppy picks based on deposit order. Working together, we will find a perfect fit for your family. We take all aspects of the puppy and future family into account and will place puppies on best fit, not order of deposit. Puppies are matched after 7 weeks when their evaluations have been completed.

Price
“The price of our puppies includes limited AKC registration, age appropriate shots, deworming, health certificate, and puppy go home packet. Our puppies have been seen by a licensed veterinarian and have negative fecals. Our puppies are started on crate and potty training. Deposit due at time of commitment. Puppy is not reserved until deposit received. Remainder due by 6 weeks of age. If committing to a puppy beyond 6 weeks of age full payment due at time of commitment.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Brucellosis, Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), D Locus (Dilute) DNA test, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

+4Brittni was incredible. She was extremely descriptive with all of the litter’s health testing, ancestry, and personalities. The process was very thorough in matching us with our puppy and she truly made us feel like she cared about each puppy’s home. We were blessed with a wonderful puppy who had already begun crate training and potty training…the transition has been extremely smooth and our puppy is amazing! He has an outgoing, social personality with a very calm, cuddly side. BAK Forty’s entire process was great overall and we will definitely be recommending, as well as coming back when our puppy needs a friend one day!!!
