Angelisa B.

Breeder of Dachshunds

Meet the breeder

I'm Angelisa B., the breeder behind Baker's Farm Dachshunds located in Wilsonville, AL. We offer miniature Dachshunds that come from our farm family to you. Our dogs are exposed to horses, chickens, and cats. They are also socialized by our grand children which play with all of them prior to going to your home.

Q. & A. with Angelisa

  • Why did you start breeding?

I began breeding dogs with my dad 35 years ago. I grew up on a farm and the dogs were a huge part of our lives.
  • What makes your program special?

My dogs are raised with children and family. We aren't a big breeder. That's not what we want. We spend time with these puppies before they leave. I want them to be loved. I am also very careful to try to breed to better the Dachshunds. I want to breed physically and genetically correct dogs.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, black, chocolate, fawn (isabella), black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
