I'm Summer R., the breeder behind Bama Pom Squad located in Birmingham, AL. Health tested puppies, socialized and predisposed to potty training. We breed for quality, health, and temperament. We raise our litters in our home to help set the foundation for confident puppies that transition well into their new homes.

    Our puppies include orange, cream, black, blue, and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Summer

Summer has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $950 - $1,950 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes deposit, CKC or AKC paperwork, veterinary records, first vaccines, de-wormer, puppy kit full of goodies, and microchip. Deposits are required to hold your chosen puppy. Only puppies who are sold at 7-8+ weeks don't require a deposit. Deposits go towards the full amount of your puppy and are not refundable.”

Summer may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
