I'm Sally S., the breeder behind Bar S Corgis located in Decatur, TX. We only breed the best dogs that blend with our families and have been personality tested to the extreme. Our puppies come well socialized and exposed to kids, other dogs, cats, and have seen both horses and chickens. We offer two pick up locations Madisonville, Tx and Paradise Tx.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Absolutely love the breed. After a lot of research we reached out to our friend that has been breeding corgis for a long time. She took us under her wing and helped us as we got started.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our dogs are raised with our families. We raise specific personality traits to go on to be great family dogs!

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Sally

Sally has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Sally partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $700 - $2,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • DNA Disease Panel, Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
