I'm Barbara W., the breeder behind Barbara Ward located in Fremont, NH. We built our program with care and intention in every step. We care deeply about the health and wellbeing of this breed. As breeders, we are stewards of the future of the Shih Tzu, so we are careful to always maintain ethical breeding practices. This includes proper health testing, intentional breeding for specific traits, and raising our puppies with proper socialization.

Why did you start breeding?
Saw my first Shih Tzu at a dog show snd i was very impressed,bought a magazine that had pictures all over ,and then i saw a Black mask gold from Greenmoss kennel and the rest is history.What makes your program special?
I try to breed as close to the standard as possible,we also know no dog is perfect,What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red and white and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
