Kimberly D.

Breeder of Australian Shepherds and Golden Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Kimberly D., the breeder behind Barking Creek Ranch located in Lake Stevens, WA. We offer show and pet dogs that are family-raised. We breed only dogs that are of sound temperament and health. Our dogs are considered members of our family, and we give each dog and puppy all the attention and care that they require to live happy healthy lives.

Q. & A. with Kimberly

  • Why did you start breeding?

We wanted to put our passion for our dogs to good use. Breeding healthy, happy puppies is our way to give back to the breed and the families who love them. We want nothing more than to see each of our dogs and puppies shine!
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are an integral part of our family and daily life. This creates the ideal environment for puppies. From birth, they grow in a secure, loving environment where they know that they matter to their family - that they have a purpose. Being a dog trainer professionally I expose and start puppy on potty training and other commands.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Australian Shepherd puppies include blue merle and black tri-color. Golden Retriever puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
