I'm Bonnie G., the breeder behind Barn House Aussies located in Lancaster, KY. Our puppies are raised on the farm with lots of love and early neurological stimulation. These puppies have tremendous pedigrees with champion working and show lines, making a great cross. The puppies are exposed to many different situations as well as people of all ages. They are handled daily. These pups will make a wonderful farmhand, agility partner, and or a beloved family pet.
Q. & A. with Bonnie
Why did you start breeding?
I have raised Australian Shepherds for over 40 years, even taking them to South America, where we lived for almost 30 years. I love the Australian shepherd! What a wonderful all around dog!
What makes your program special?
What makes my breedings program special is that I invest a lot of time and love in my puppies. They are born in My Home and handled daily as small pups. I do early neurological stimulation which help them adapt to change in their life and to deal more effectively with stressors. As they get older, I expose them to our farm animals and many different situations on the farm. They are handled daily by children and people of all ages. They are exposed to other dogs as well. They are very well rounded puppy. Some of my pup owners say they’re the best dog they’ve ever had.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Tina
Tina is a beloved member of our family. Although she has a strong working drive, with only a few cows, we have not adequately trained her. She is super intelligent, loves to be with us in the house as well as out on the farm. She loves people, and is
especially drawn to children. She’s an outstanding dog!
