I'm Melissa T., the breeder behind Bayview Yorkies located in Jacksonville, FL. We treasure each puppy in our program and give them all the attention and care that we possibly can. We work hard so our puppies are ready to take on the world with their new family! Our puppies are raised with love in our home and we are so excited to see them thrive with their new families.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My first breeding experience was breeding Chows as you might imagine, I like a challenge, selecting that breed :) I worked hard not just in breeding, but Puppy training My newborns to prepare them for their new homes! Some years later, I selected German Shepherd and Yorkies to Breed and Train! After a period of time in life, I have downsized to breeding Quality Yorkies, "Little Loyal Love"

  • What makes your program special?

    Heart, Dedication and Determination to develop Healthy Yorkies with Excellent Bloodlines! I Breed for Temperament, Conformation, Genetic Tested Health, as well as Breed Standard! With Years of Certification in Dog Training, My Puppies leave their Birth Home with a Tail Wagging Head Start! I Will Always be there for My Yorkie Babies and their New Owners to assist in anyway needed!

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include tan, blue and gold, black and tan, and black and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Wisdom Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
