I'm Michelle D., the breeder behind B+B Co Miniature Dachshunds located in Hartsville, TN. At B+B Co., we are dedicated to raising healthy, well-socialized Miniature Dachshunds with the goal of bettering the breed. Our puppies are health-tested, family-raised, and prepared to thrive as loving companions.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    With over five years of livestock breeding experience, I learned the importance of genetics, health, and responsible care. When my family welcomed our first Miniature Dachshund, Rosie Posie, we fell in love. Inspired by her joy, we began raising healthy, happy, well-socialized dachshunds for families to love. We are also active in community events and shows!

  • What makes your program special?

    What makes us special is the heart behind our program. We prioritize health and temperament, with fully health-tested, carefully paired dogs to better the breed. Raised on our Tennessee acreage with our children and pets, our puppies are socialized, confident, and cherished from the very start.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, black, chocolate, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Michelle

Michelle has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Michelle partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $535 non-refundable deposit and between $1,265 - $3,065 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“CKC/AKC registration, parental genetic testing, age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, veterinary care, microchipped, and early socialization to ensure each puppy gets the best start in life. Deposits are required to hold a puppy and are non-refundable or transferable.”

    Michelle was so responsive and very quick to respond to any request we had leading up to our pickup. This was our first dog so we were quite nervous, but Michelle was always willing to answer any questions! She is extremely caring for the puppies as they grow up and continued to provide us updates every week (or sometimes more if we asked!) It is clear that she is extremely intentional, allowing us to do a visit before pickup and gave us blankets and food for our sweet girl. We could not have dreamed for a better person to go through and cannot recommend her enough!

    Michelle was excellent to work with and I could tell she really cared about her dogs. She was quick to answer any questions I had, but also asked me questions to determine if I was a good fit as well! I was sent regular updates about my puppy. And she continued to be interested in receiving updates from me once I took my puppy home. From the start, it was clear that she prioritizes the health and well-being of her dogs above everything else. She provided all of Oreo’s up-to-date vaccination records and made sure the entire process was smooth, transparent, and well-organized. When we brought Oreo home, she sent him with familiar items like his favorite toy and scent blanket, which made his transition so much easier. He also came crate trained, which shows the time, effort, and dedication she puts into raising her dogs. What stood out most to me is how much she genuinely cares about the long-term well-being of her dogs. She has stayed in touch and checked in on Oreo, and she is very mindful about responsible ownership — including ensuring he is neutered, which I really respect. Oreo has such a sweet and gentle temperament, and it’s obvious he was raised in a loving and attentive environment.
