Q. & A. with Michelle

  • Why did you start breeding?

With over five years of livestock breeding experience, I learned the importance of genetics, health, and responsible care. When my family welcomed our first Miniature Dachshund, Rosie Posie, we fell in love. Inspired by her joy, we began raising healthy, happy, well-socialized dachshunds for families to love. We are also active in community events and shows!
  • What makes your program special?

What makes us special is the heart behind our program. We prioritize health and temperament, with fully health-tested, carefully paired dogs to better the breed. Raised on our Tennessee acreage with our children and pets, our puppies are socialized, confident, and cherished from the very start.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, black, chocolate, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Michelle was excellent to work with and I could tell she really cared about her dogs. She was quick to answer any questions I had, but also asked me questions to determine if I was a good fit as well! I was sent regular updates about my puppy. And she continued to be interested in receiving updates from me once I took my puppy home. Good Dog gave me the peace of mind of paying securely that I was able to be excited about getting my puppy instead of being worried I was being scammed. I’m so glad I found Michelle and that my puppy was still available when I reached out! When I took my puppy for his 2nd vet appt at 9weeks the Vet in so many words said he was perfect.
