Q. & A. with Shelly
Why did you start breeding?
We have been privileged to own some amazing dogs, and our breeding career started with the desire to keep our dogs lineage going. We see the joy that they bring to us and want to share that with other families.
What makes your program special?
There is a reason that Labs are the #1 breed, but I have found that I have very specific tastes in my dogs, and I want to see more of them out there. I enjoy a smaller dog, while not loosing the blocky, thicker style. I love the deeper chocolate color as well, and always look for that in my breeders. I raise every puppy myself, most get names, and I may cry when they leave, but I will want to hear about how they are doing for their entire lifetime!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include chocolate and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
