I'm Brandi S., the breeder behind Bean Creek Dachshunds & Terriers located in Licking, MO. We absolutely adore our babies and want to make sure they get the best care and homes possible! That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I had dachshunds my entire childhood growing up so its no surprise that I have chose to raise them in my adult life. They are the sweetest babies! I love watching my kiddos interact with our babies and helping me in the kennel. It’s so good for the puppies and also good for my children seeing how good the interaction is and also the work ethic it takes to raise and take care of our babies.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our dachshunds are very special to us. Not only does Penny and Scout have good litters but their dapple markings are out of this world! They are absolutely beautiful puppies and it’s such a surprise each time as to what colors we are going to get!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Dachshund puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Welsh Terrier puppies are black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

    Brandi was very helpful in helping me learn about the r welsh terrier bread as well as the personality of the puppy I ended of getting. She kept in touch and shared pictures and videos of the puppy as she was growing. Additionally, the puppy had plenty of exposure to kids which was much appreciated since the puppy was coming to a home with little kids. She also connected us with a puppy transport company that was seamless to work with. We are a month in with the puppy and are enjoying her immensely.
