I'm Brandi S., the breeder behind Bean Creek Dachshunds & Terriers located in Licking, MO. We absolutely adore our babies and want to make sure they get the best care and homes possible! That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families.

Why did you start breeding?
I had dachshunds my entire childhood growing up so its no surprise that I have chose to raise them in my adult life. They are the sweetest babies! I love watching my kiddos interact with our babies and helping me in the kennel. It’s so good for the puppies and also good for my children seeing how good the interaction is and also the work ethic it takes to raise and take care of our babies.What makes your program special?
Our dachshunds are very special to us. Not only does Penny and Scout have good litters but their dapple markings are out of this world! They are absolutely beautiful puppies and it’s such a surprise each time as to what colors we are going to get!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
