Breeder of Poodles

Meet the breeder

I'm Anna L., the breeder behind Bear Mountain Poodles located in Dora, MO. We breed for health, a variety of colors, and puppies that are versatile with good temperaments and will fit into any home.

Q. & A. with Anna

  • Why did you start breeding?

My parents bred dogs when I was growing up so I have been around dog training, grooming, and breeding my entire life. I bred Chocolate Labs for over 10 years until 2014 when I made the switch to just breeding Poodles.
  • What makes your program special?

Our puppies are bred for versatility wether they go to a pet home, a sport home, or a breeder. I breed for a variety of colors and patterns including black, brown, apricot, red, cream, phantom, and sable. All coming in solid, abstract, and parti. I genetically test all of my dogs before breeding them to insure that we make the right decisions when breeding a pair. All of our dogs are clear for ALL genetic diseases.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include apricot, black, brown, cream, red, parti, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
