Meet the breeder

I'm Natalia O., the breeder behind Bea’s Dackel Haüs located in Imperial, MO. Here at Bea’s Dackel Haüs we have a small program with big personalities. Breeding genetically healthy and well rounded puppies is my number one priority. I'd be honored to help you and your family find the perfect beloved companion.

Q. & A. with Natalia

  • Why did you start breeding?

I've always been highly interested in animals in general. Dogs in particular have always played a big role in my life as highly loved and important members of my family. Dachshunds have always been a breed I admired and loved; naturally, I wanted to get involved in breeding healthy dogs and contributing to the breed's preservation.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are loved as if they were our own children. At B.D.H. we are highly committed to breeding genetically stable dogs that help preserve the breed, as well as improve the general dog population's genetic health. We've fostered dogs from shelters and rescue programs before; therefore, we are very conscious of how many dogs are out there that have many health issues due to multiple reasons in both purebreds and mixed breeds. We are passionate about our program and the work we do here. We truly want the best for each of our dogs/puppies and their furever families. 🐾
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red, brindle, black and tan, chocolate and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Natalia

Natalia has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Natalia partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape.

“After approving an application, I schedule a video call with the applicant so that we may discuss further and I can show them the puppy before moving forward with a deposit. This can be a time consuming process which takes time away from caring for the dogs. For that reason, I ask the applicants to be respectful of my time and not submit an application or schedule a video call if they are unsure or not ready to move forward with a deposit once they have completed my process.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,174 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Puppy prices vary based on several factors. Please contact us for specific pricing information. ”

We had such a great experience getting our puppy, Rupert, from Natalia at Bea's Dackel Haus. From the very beginning, she was incredibly communicative—sending regular updates, answering all my questions, and making me feel confident every step of the way. I was honestly pretty nervous about flying to pick him up and managing all the logistics, but Natalia made the entire process seamless. She was waiting at the airport right on time with all of Rupert’s records ready to go, which made everything so much easier. What really stood out was how much she genuinely cares; she even checked in after we got home to see how Rupert was doing. Natalia was honest, transparent, and truly made what felt like an overwhelming process feel simple and stress-free. I would absolutely recommend her—10/10 experience!

I couldn’t have asked for a better breeder than Natalia. The entire process, from initial interest in one of her puppies to bringing our new family member home, was a great experience. Natalia’s passion for her dogs and puppies is incredible. The attention to detail in caring for our puppy, documentation, tips and tricks, and communication, made this a special moment in our families lives. Would highly recommend Natalia and if we get another mini dachshund, it will be from her.

We recently picked up Tommy, 9 months old, from Natalia. The entire process with Natalia was seamless and she is very knowledgeable about the breed. After losing our last dog quite young, I knew our next dog had to come from a knowledgeable, ethical breeder. We found exactly that in Natalia. She put all my fears at ease by providing ample proof of proper health and DNA testing for her parent dogs. Tommy is such a sweet boy and has immediately stole our hearts. He’s quickly adjusting to our home and is showing that Natalia did a great job training him (crate training, potty training, etc.) Natalia also provided an amazing puppy pack for Tommy when we picked him up which included food, a blanket with littermates’ scents, and all the health records for Tommy and his parents. The love Natalia has for her dogs is obvious. Anyone looking for their next long-dog companion, look no further than Natalia.

Natalia was helpful and knowledgeable through the process. She was great at answering questions and helping me learn more about Chuckie before I took him home. Even after he got home to us, she continues to offer support with any concerns or questions. When you work with her, you will see how much she cares about each of her puppies/dogs and how invested she is in continuing to support the best way possible for this breed.

Natalia could not have been more informative and helpful through our adoption of Phillip! She is so knowledgeable about the breed and gave us so many helpful resources for food, toys, vet visits, and several other items we might not have thought of. She was super responsive and still is very helpful whenever we have any questions or are wanting advice about our new pup. Could not recommend her more! If you're looking for a new little member of your family, look no further.
