Q. & A. with Sarah
Why did you start breeding?
I fell in love with Australian Shepherds years ago—their loyalty, intelligence, and drive fit perfectly with our busy family and farm life. After owning my first Aussie, I knew I wanted to share that same experience with others. What started with one incredible dog quickly became a passion for raising healthy, well-tempered Aussies who can thrive as both family companions and working partners.
What makes your program special?
How personally involved I am in every step. Each dog is born and raised inside our home and on our Iowa family farm handled daily, exposed to livestock, children, and new environments. I focus on pairing health-tested, well-balanced parents to produce puppies that are smart, loyal, and versatile. My dogs are part of our family, learning confidence, manners, and love from day one.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black & white, red & white, red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
