We fell in love with dachshunds and our goal is to preserve their health, temperament, and characteristics.What makes your program special?

Our puppies include piebald, chocolate, brindle, black and tan, blue and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
Getting a puppy from Makayla
Makayla has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Makayla partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price
“Prices vary d/t color, long hair or short hair, registration, health tested, etc. We require a $100 non refundable deposit to hold the puppy of your choice. However, if anything was to happen to the puppy while they are still in our care, we will refund you the deposit.”

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA), Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
