I'm Alan B., the breeder behind Begg's Retrievers located in Maury County, TN. I am a small, home-based breeder with large expectations for my Retrievers! I offer top-quality, loving puppies. My dogs are bred to produce healthy, sound, and versatile pups. My ultimate goal is to produce athletic and well-structured canines that can excel within various venues and have the ability to be the greatest family companions.

Why did you start breeding?
I have always loved dogs and was excited to establish my breeding program. I have enjoyed the journey, and I am a proud breeder with a focus on temperament and the overall mental and physical health of my puppies. I am passionate about placing happy, healthy puppies with loving families.What makes your program special?
My dogs and puppies are my family, and they get the best care I can possibly provide. I am very dedicated to what I do and what I aim to achieve as a breeder. I work with passion, heart, and integrity, and I truly want what's best for my dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Labrador Retriever puppies are chocolate. Dilute Retriever puppies are silver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Alan
Alan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $900 - $1,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“All our males are $1,200 regardless of size and first deposit gets first pick of the litter of 6 males. All our females are $1,400 regardless of size and again first deposit gets first pick of the 3 females left out of the 4 that she had. Prices include microchip and registration with AKC. they will have all age appropriate shots and be dewormed before going to their new homes.”
Contract & health guarantee
Alan may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
