I'm Kathryn H., the breeder behind Bella Dolce Maltese located in Phoenix, AZ. Our dogs are bred for health & beauty-raised in our home and loved like family. We spend countless hours with each of our litters to prepare them for their forever homes. My dogs come from decades of champion/grand champion dogs. All pups are evaluated first&vet check before being offered for sale.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I grew up in a family that always had small dogs. We had toy poodles and Yorkshire terriers. I started in rescue when I first got married but was always going to dog shows as a spectator. I soon moved over to Conformation exhibiting and breeding. I still take time for rescue as I think everybody should give back that way, even if it means just stopping during your busy day to help a runaway dog.

  • What makes your program special?

    Socialization is key. I start from day 1 as I midwife every litter delivery. I do early neurological stimulation as well as lots of touch therapy. I am also interested in nutrition & health. My dogs get dentals 2-3 times per year, weekly bath's, proper exercise and vitamin & supplements that match their needs. High quality food for their body and breed type is duly important.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Kathryn

Kathryn has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Kathryn partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 11 weeks old.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $3,000 - $5,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
