I'm Heather A., the breeder behind BellaHara located in Hay Springs, NE. I am a dedicated breeder to the wonderful breed of Australian Shepherds. Aussies are to be “versatile” with working instincts & good structure. Excellent temperament, biddable, very smart, & beautiful! I do everything I can to ensure the puppy has all of the tools to live a happy, healthy, wonderful life.

Why did you start breeding?
We grew up living this type of lifestyle. Australian Shepherds have always been a part of our lives.What makes your program special?
In our humble opinion coat and eye color is just “wrapping on the package”. As an ASCA registered kennel we adhere to the standards set forth by that Registry. We raise wonderful well-bred Aussies, that we try and match folks lifestyle to the individual Aussies temperaments. So new owners are excellent to learn an Aussie from us is as beautiful on the inside as the “pretty wrapping” it comes in.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

“The price includes ASCA & AKC registration application. 2 sets of shots & deworming. The Aussies are well socialized and exposed to as many experience as safely possibly. We ask for a non-refundable deposit. As we simply cannot hold an Aussie on an expressed interest.”

Beau is a goofy, happy, loyal Ol’ man, but you’d never guess his age as he’s still as spry and agile as ever. Besides his great temperament testing and athletic abilities Beau has lovely structure and thus is all wrapped up in his beautiful blue merle coat. He’s been genetically tested and is clear of everything except being an MDR 1 carrier.

Animal Genetics Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
