Q. & A. with Kate
Why did you start breeding?
Since childhood, it was my family's dream to one day successfully own and show a winning confirmation AKC dog. My father would purchase dogs from registered AKC breeders and would pay extra for the pick of the litter. Though beautiful and much loved, we never did obtain our winning confirmation show dog. That experience sparked my lifelong curiosity and passion to one day selectively breed and produce my perfect dog.
What makes your program special?
After graduating college with an Animal Science degree, I spent 3 years researching show dogs and breeders to select the perfect female to start my Conformation show line. My puppy’s sire went on to become the #1 AKC-ranked Labrador of 2013 and has since Grand-Sired multiple World Champions!!
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
