First day outside. Growing fast. Weaning well.Personalities are becoming remarkable. Lovely litter of pups.

Dodie is working on weaning her pups. The tri-color female latches on and won't let go. I love Dodie's reaction to the little barracuda!

Wlll be starting supplemental bottle feeding this week. They drain their mother dry so she is choosing to nurse them and leave them. Their eyes cntinue to open more every day. They are already trying to explore outside their confined space. In a few weeks the play area will be outdoors on the patio.

Toddler stage of puppy development. They are finding their voices, beginning to play with each other, and starting to develop the litter pecking order. Time to be cradled and rocked is passing fast. So downright cute!

Collie
About Maudie
Maude is a gentle, calm, devoted , young female. This is her first litter. She has been a devoted mother. Playful, attentive, and training her puppies to follow her when called. She has been genetically screened by Wisdom Health.
Collie
About Dodie
This is Dodie's first litter. She was to have been shown in AKC late this summer but the breeding in Colorado did not take place as planned and yet, surprise surprise, 7 healthy and lovely puppies are presented without incident. She is a wonderful mother as well as a beautiful representation of her breed. Fully vetted, OFA eyes and hips checked, Collie Health Foundation and UC Davis genetic panels completed.
Collie
About Duffy
Duffy is an intelligent, highly responsive companion and herding dog. Not only is he beautiful, he is a personality plus Collie. Being shown in AKC later this summer. Fully vetted, OFA hips and eyes checked. Genetic panel through Collie Health Foundation and UC Davis lab.
Collie
About Ranger
Ranger’s sire is an international and Canadian Grand Champion with outstanding pedigree. Ranger is friendly and loves attention. He possesses the natural Collie herding instinct. Herds the ponies and Angora goats when they are nearby. His efforts to herd the donkey are notable. The donkey thinks the barking dog at his heels is playing a game and so pays no attention. When the “game” becomes tiresome, Jack flattens his ears, lowers his head, turns, and Ranger makes a tactical retreat. Game over for the day.
