I'm Phalon B., the breeder behind Bennett Babies located in Cowen, WV. When we got our first dog, we were instantly in love. These dachshunds are the most stubborn, playful, sassy dogs you will ever own. They have totally stolen my heart. Since then, we’ve made it our mission to bring happy, healthy puppies into the lives of other families!

Why did you start breeding?
I have always loved these dogs and it was a dream for me and my sister to breed these pups. We fell in love with the breed when our grandparents rescued one when we were younger. Then our mom had got one while we were growing up. When we lost her we always wanted another. In time my sister got a boy and then we found a pair of sisters that were perfect for us we took the leap and grew from there.What makes your program special?
I have a small program and the dogs and puppies grow up as part of the family.What are the different breed sizes in your program?

About Phoebe
Phoebe is my feisty girl and will run laps all day because she thinks she is the fastest weenie. She loves snuggles and is an under the cover sleeper, she likes to sleep right by the back of my legs. Her squeaky toys are her favorite and she is a good girl during bath time.

Black and White Piebald with heavy ticking. She is the absolute sweetest girl with the definition of puppy dog eyes. She likes to sleep by my head and is the best girl on car rides. She has a very different bark and is protective over me especially.

About Dandyman
He is a beautiful long haired red brindle piebald who I have recently discovered also has a merle gene. I am in the process of testing the length of the gene as none of his puppies have presented visually dapple. He is the most loveable boy who can never get close enough during snuggle time. He loves, bones and squeaky toys and he has been a wonderful new addition to our family.
