I'm Paula D., the breeder behind Bernedoodles By The Sea located in Port St. Joe, FL. Our puppies are handled from the time they are born in order to imprint the human touch even before they can see or hear. As the grow they are socialize with young children, other dogs and cats. We aim for healthy puppies with sweet temperaments.
Q. & A. with Paula
Why did you start breeding?
I found that the beauty of watching puppies being born and then growing into wonderful pets was just irresistible. It takes a lot of time, dedication and patience but the results are very satisfying.
What makes your program special?
I believe our breeding program is special because our whole aim is to create well rounded puppies. They are raised in our home and are exposed to noise, children, other dogs, cats and other normal household activities. We begin potty training very early and have received feedback from previous litter owners that their pups are nearly housebroken once they get to their home.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include yellow and white, red, black, black and white, tri-color, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
