Getting a puppy from Charlene
Charlene has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $500 refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes dewclaw removal, microchip implanted, age-appropriate vaccinations, prepaid AKC registration, health guarantee, toys and blanket, and samples of food, treats, and supplements. Deposit is made at the time the Buyer chooses their puppy, which will be in the order they get on the waiting list, with show homes taking priority because not all puppies are show potential. If Buyer decides not to take puppy they chose after twelve (12) weeks of age and Breeder does not have someone on their waiting list to step in and buy puppy, then one-half of the deposit will be kept by Breeder as compensatory damages for having puppy reserved and "off the market.".”

Litter update on 30 July •…These two boys are getting cuter by the minute and smarter too. Ranger is sold and anxiously awaits his new mom and dad and brother coming to get him in a couple of weeks. It will just get harder and harder to give little Zorro up as he gets older and more cherished by me. Be prepared to watch me cry as they leave.

Litter update on 24 Apr. •…Clarence (Beseme's It's a Wonderful Life) is still available. He is a little angel just like his namesake. He is potty trained, crate trained and an all-around good puppy, playful and loving and darned cute too! He will be beautiful when he grows up with his several shades of red in his soft coat and a great agility-obedience dog too.

Litter update on 27 Mar. •…The puppies are having so much fun outside. They have totally learned the doggy door so it is hard to keep them inside. Clarence and Ruby's mom Sally was reunited with her mom and dad after they spent 18 months in Chile and she remembers everything, even the tricks I did not know she did. Clarence is an explorer but can be very cuddly too. Both NessaRose and Clarence are very nice puppies--I just cannot keep them all i am keeping Ruby to show and eventually breed since Sally is back home with her family.

Litter update on 25 Mar. •…This is Sally with her two puppies Clarence and Ruby. Of course, NessaRose (white one) from Tinsel's litter gets in on the fun too. They are totally enjoying the sunshine and fresh air.

Litter update on 25 Mar. •…This is NessaRose, the sweetest of sweet little Havanese just like the five generations before her. They are all keepers but she is just like mom and grandma and etc.

About Shirley
Shirley (GCH CH Beseme's Stand Up and Cheer) is an absolute love bug and as sweet as they can be. She loves being with me and is also an excellent and doting mother. Shirley is a grand champion and was always shown by me in bred-by exhibitor. She caught my eye the minute she was born and was so beautifully marked with gorgeous structure and conformation that I named her after my mother (Shirley) and my mother's favorite actress (Shirley Temple). She has an absolutely beautiful face that many judges commented about when examining her on the table. She is the biggest (weight) of all my dogs because she has nice stocky bone but occasionally produces smaller puppies like her grandsire, Nelson, who was only 6 pounds because of his fine bones and small stature. When she moves, she moves gracefully and elegantly, also something the judges commented on.

All of his health testing was done and passed with flying colors. He is a wonderful, loving boy and very smart and learns really fast. He would make a great agility dog if I had the time to train him.

About Tinsel
Tinsel is sweet and loving and a real pleasure to be owned by her. She is content to wait her turn (just like her mother and grandmother and great-grandmother) when I am handing out the treats or the snuggles. She loves to show but is retired from the ring to have beautiful babies. All three of her puppies from her first litter were very nice--so much so that Magic stayed here to be shown. Since I cannot keep them all, Shazam and Skadoosh are in a loving home together but really could have been shown to their championships. She helped raise Sally's first litter when Sally didn't know what to do with her puppies. Shimmer fostered two and Tinsel fostered one. Tinsel has five beautiful babies in her second litter, 2 boys and 3 girls, The Wicked Litter born December 10, 2024.

About Addie
Addie is quite the character. She carries a toy around in her mouth and talks to you while her mouth is closed. She is from Kate and Shaker, both very active and full of personality. I never finished Addie's championship because I was showing too many girls at the same time and because she was always so exuberant on the table, the judge had a hard time going over her enough to give her the win over her housemates.

About Ember
Ember is a sweetheart. She is one of Tesla's puppies when I bred her to Plent'E (I called her Sahara). I actually sold her because I had a friend that wanted her in the worst way so I gave in. Circumstances changed for the friend so I got her back and I am happy I did. She is a very nice and loving addition to our family here. She loves to love you and receive love back. Ember is very cuddly and loving and a good little girl too. She was a great mother to the puppies and plays with them a lot now that they aren't trying to nurse on her anymore.

About Shimmer
Shimmer is a quiet little lover that is always ready and willing to give love and receive it. She is not pushy but waits patiently for her turn to come. She finished her championship and grand championship extremely fast and has been a wonderful mother. This is her very last litter. In the picture where she is nursing her puppies, there are two extra puppies shown because she fostered Sally's two little boys when Sally was too stressed to figure out how to take care of her puppies. Shimmer readily accepted them and took excellent care of them even though I know she knew they were not hers. When Sally decided she wanted to be with her puppies, Shimmer let me take them and let Sally nurse them but welcomed them back with lots of love. She's an absolute gem!

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
D Locus (Dilute) DNA test, Dominant Black DNA Test, DNA Profile, DNA Coat/Trait Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
