Why did you start breeding?
Labrador Retrievers have always been a big part of my life. I grew up hunting and training Labradors. The dogs were always a part of the family. My passion for the breed is what got me into breeding. Now my life is dedicated to producing the absolute best all around Labradors available anywhere in the country. I pay attention to all details and it shows!What makes your program special?
At Bird Dog Labs our love for the Labrador Retriever breed is undeniable. We do everything we can to try and ensure we produce healthy puppies. We go above and beyond when it comes to health testing, and make sure our puppies are ready to join any home with our Super Puppy Program. All of our puppies are born and raised in our home, during which time they are thoroughly socialized, taught the basics of crate and potty training, and exposed to sounds and touch in order to give them the best start possible. By the time they are ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks of age, each puppy should be well prepared for whatever direction their new family takes them.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Gina
Gina has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
"Pick order will be determined according to deposits received. Please verify by phone or email that you are sending a deposit. Pick placement will be held for 7 days while deposit is in the mail. If the deposit is not received within 7 days, puppy pick will be applied when the deposit is received. Deposits are non-refundable unless we cannot provide a puppy that meets your desired sex and color you indicate on the puppy deposit form. Deposits are non-refundable, unless the specified sex and color of puppy is not available from the identified litter."
Contract & health guarantee
Gina may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
PRA, Rod-Cone Dysplasia 4 (rcd4), Hyperuricosuria (HUU), Hereditary Nasal Parakeratosis (HNPK), Elliptocytosis, Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Retinal Dysplasia/Oculoskeletal Dysplasia 1 (RD OSD), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Myotubular Myopathy 1, Rottweiler Type, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Skeletal Dysplasia (SD2), PRA, Golden Retriever 2, Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
