I'm Erica and Trinity A., the breeder behind Bitterroot Valley Antler Labs located in Stevensville, MT. Bitterroot Valley Antler Labs was created from our love of exceptional Labradors. We are planning one carefully selected litter. Sire: UKC Elite Grand Champion Shed Dog & CGC/CGCU. Dam: UKC Working Shed Dog 2 & UKC Started Hunting Retriever. Both are AKC/UKC registered and trained service dogs.

Why did you start breeding?
We started by selectively standing our male at stud, learning and growing with him. That experience gave us a clear picture of what we valued in a dog, and naturally led us to plan our own carefully considered litter, with the goal of producing exceptional, well-rounded, versatile Labrador Retrievers with amazing temperments.What makes your program special?
What makes our program special is that this is our one and only planned litter. We started by selectively standing our male at stud and learned exactly what we value: stable temperaments, sound structure, and true working ability. We train our own dogs in antler work, service work, and gun dog training. This litter is our way of preserving those qualities.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Erica and Trinity
Erica and Trinity has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Erica and Trinity partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.

“The purchace of a puppy from us Includes AKC/UKC registration, vaccinations/deworming/veterinary health exam, early socialization, retrieving introduction, puppy starter pack, and lifetime support. A deposit reserves your place on our waitlist and is applied to your puppy's purchase price. We will work closely with you to help match you with the right puppy.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), D Locus (Dilute) DNA test
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
