I am dedicated to continuing my phenomenal bloodlines in an effort to provide others with loving, healthy, and happy puppies!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Responsible, ethical breeders play an important role in the future of the dog ecosystem. I wanted to put my passion for American Shepherds to good use. Breeding healthy, happy puppies is one way to give back to the well-being of the breed and the families who love them. I want nothing more than to see each of my dogs shine and I pride myself on helping all of my clients find the right fit for their needs and lifestyle.

    Bjork Mini American Shepherds is committed to only breeding dogs that meet the strict guidelines for quality that I have deemed appropriate to improving this wonderful breed. My focus on health, conformation, and function is what brings my program to the front of the pack. I am very conscious about who I rehome my puppies to and always ensure that each one goes to the best home possible complementary to its personality and ability.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC)
