I'm Nichole B., the breeder behind Black Cloud Kennels located in Atwater, CA. We are a small breeding operation that makes our dogs part of the family. We produce a few litters a year, and treat each very special. We believe the Labrador Retriever is a very exceptional breed, and strive to produce only the best puppies that embody those wonderful characteristics.

What makes your program special?
We strive to produce hunting Labradors that still have an “off” switch. Dogs that can excel in the field and have lots of drive, but that can also be family pets. Many of our puppy owners want a hunting buddy on the weekend, but they need a family pet during the week.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Nichole has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price
“Our puppies are $1500 and come microchipped, with age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and vet checked. There is a $300 deposit required once we assign you to a litter.”

Nichole may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
D Locus (Dilute) DNA test, Full Embark Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
