I'm Sarah E., the breeder behind Black Creek Farm located in Pelion, SC. Having a dog in our lives is such a blessing. We find so much fulfillment in providing that same companionship to other homes! We are a simple, family-run breeding program offering loving and loyal companions to others. We focus on quality care and health with each litter we raise.

What makes your program special?
All my breeding dogs are part of the house pack. Small to large, they live with me in the house. The puppies are whelped next to me. I not only breed for conformation but temperament. We maintain a healthy diet and weight for all our breeds.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

DJ is a male Pug. Carefully selected as a great representative of his breed, Sarah decided to make him part of their program. Sarah has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PKD), Pug Type, Pug Dog Encephalitis (PDE)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
