I'm Michelle M., the breeder behind Bleumoon Cockers located in Southeastern, PA. We are a small hobby breeder of high-quality Cocker Spaniels. We breed for a purpose, when we want to add a new line to our pedigrees & improve upon the dogs we already have. We keep 1 or 2 as show prospects and make the littermates available as family pets and/or to performence homes. So no litter is ever "just pet quality". We are proud members of the American Spaniel Club and have been recognized as an AKC Breeder of Merit. Puppies bred by us are shown in conformation, obedience, agility, tracking, rally and have therapy dog titles as well. They are beloved companions to their families.
Q. & A. with Michelle
Why did you start breeding?
About 35 years ago, Basia was the foundation for Bleumoon Cocker Spaniels. She came to live with me at 14 months old, and finished both her American & Canadian Championships with group placements, owner-handled by me. As a producer, she presented me with 1 Canadian and 7 American Champions, and from there began Bleumoon Cockers.
What makes your program special?
Puppies bred here are the product of careful, selective breeding and whelped to the highest possible standards. We may have one or two litters a year, and each litter is undertaken with great care and attention.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and tan, red, buff, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
